Nokia C5-03 Format Soft/Hard Reset to Factory Settings

Here's the instruction on how to format or reset the Nokia C5-03 to factory fresh default settings.
Note: This may only advisable if the phone experiencing frozen or hang problems, burned out by excessive use or installing 3rd party applications. You may need to back up all important data stored on the phone before you proceed, this process will delete  the files you installed on Nokia C5-03.


Nokia C5-03 Soft Reset:
This will not harmed your data . Soft reset only restores .ini files from Flash ROM on board memory of your Nokia C5-03.

1.). Dial *#7780#

2). Press Ok/Yes

Nokia C5-03 Hard Reset
This will delete your data and installed applications. Hard reset will restore your Nokia C5-03 to default factory setting.

1). Turn off Nokia C5-03

2). Take out the battery and reinsert it, turn it on

3). Dial *#7370#

4). Press Ok/Yes

Nokia C5-03 Hard Reset through button combination.

1). Turn Off the Nokia device

2). Pull out the battery and reinsert it back again, then Power it ON

3). Simultaneously  press and hold *+3+Call Button (green/ok button)

    I have Nokia C5-03, it caught a bug, i had restored to the "Default factory setting" but the bug was still there. "Nokia Care" People have cleaned it once. It came again, I applied the "Hardware Restore Setting" provided here, and now i know what the "Nokia Care" people had done.

    Hold Green Phone attend botton + hold volume botton + hold lock botton then start your phone.

    Then your mobile will be formatted.

    Hello,

    a few months ago I bought Nokia C5-03 and I installed the free version of Quickoffice and then... my menu went out of order - all the icons that were in "Applications" went out in the main menu and the "Applications" was gone. Nokia Customer Care advised me to organize the nemu myself (from the Options) and so I did. But then the problmes started - I can't see the names of some people calling, I see only their numbers, sometimes the phone switches off, sometimes it changes the ringtone and sometimes it just stops searching for WLAN. Would that Hard reset described above fix my problem with the missing names when people call me? Would it bring back the normal view of the menu, the way it was when I bought the phone?

    Hi,
    I am using Nokia C5-03 for last 10 months. But today when I was installing Kaspersky Antivirus from Nokia Store website by loging in my account, the application first started installing but in the midway it got struck and the phone hanged up. Since then the phone did not come into normal mode. No key or the screen is working when I start my phone. Even I can't switch off the phone normally. I had to open the battery to turn it off and subsequently reinsert it to switch it on again?? I can't reset the factory settings and can't even format my phone memory. What to do?? Please help...
